Team Background

Kevin Mills Racing was established in 1994 by former Castle Combe Formula Ford Champion and all round Formula Ford legend Kevin Mills, having reached the end of his own successful racing career, realized that he could use his skills and expertise to set up team KMR.

In it's 11 year history KMR has gone from strength to strength, winning twelve titles and becoming one of the leading lights in Formula Ford, the most prestigious single seater series in the UK. The team is renowned for producing championship winning cars and drivers.

Kevin Mills Racing has enjoyed continual success in Formula Ford 1600 and first came to light in the UK Formula Ford Championship in 2002 with driver Matt Howson in the Avon Junior Championship. KMR and Matt took 3 top 5 finishes and finished 8th overall in the series. In 2004 team KMR entered drivers Neil Doran and Stuart Gough in the UK Formula Ford Championship with Neil finishing 2nd overall in the scholarship class, Stuart scoring the teams first overall podium, and between them winning the class eight times.

2005 was arguably the teams most successful season, taking two championship titles in both the Castle Combe FF1600 championship and the UK Formula Ford Scholarship Cup.  In 2006 the team will be defending it’s titles, with the guidance of team principle Kevin Mills.
